The Dorsey Science/Tech/Math Magnet offers a rigorous high school curriculum for students to engage in Science, Technology, & Math related fields. The program is designed for highly motivated & self-directed students.
Our tightly-knit program provides Common-Core Standards-based instruction, advanced placement courses, & college preparatory A-G classes. Our program is also designed to equip students with 21st-century critical thinking & problem-solving skills for college and career.
Technology is one of the cornerstones of this program in which students are capable of demonstrating mastery in computer programming, robotics, and computer science.

Loretta Brown currently serves as the Magnet counselor for grades 9th -12th. She has always had a mission to help students maximize their potential. Mrs. Brown is a firm believer in hard work and doing your best at all times. Students under her advisement have maintained graduation rates of 95% and above.

Mr. Brackebusch has been teaching at Dorsey since 2012. He teaches Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science. His passion is bringing science to life for his students, guiding them in exploring the world and developing their understanding of how it works. Through real-world experiments and virtual simulations students engage in inquiry learning, make observations and collect evidence, and draw their own scientific conclusions. It is learning that lasts a lifetime.
